Leading Women at GasN2

International Women’s Day is an opportunity to highlight the fundamental role of women in the industry and continue promoting equality. At GasN2, we are fortunate to have leading women in different areas of the company, who contribute their talent and leadership to help the company grow.
Women like Astrid Tulleuda (Technical Manager), Maria Molist (Cold BU Manager), Natalia Fernández (Chromatography Unit Production Manager), Anna Masanas (Finance Manager), and Nerea López (Chromatography Unit Installations & Maintenance Technician) are clear examples of hard work, talent, and expertise.

Inspiring Voices: Experiences and Reflections from Our Professionals

What does International Women’s Day mean to you?

  • Astrid Tulleuda: “It’s a day that allows us to reaffirm the importance of women in the world, in a culture that, unfortunately, for centuries has kept women in the background in many areas of society.”
  • Maria Molist: “An opportunity to uphold the role of women in all spheres, recognize the progress made, and remember the challenges we still face as a society in achieving true equality.”
  • Nerea López: “It means much more than just the day we stand up for our own rights as human beings, but also a reason to keep talking about it. However, I’m aware that for many women who don’t have the same opportunities as me to work in a man’s world, it’s a very significant day.”

Describe in one word the impact women have on GasN2

  • Natalia Fernández: “Equality.”
  • Anna Masanas: “Impulse.”
  • Nerea López: “Progress.”

Why is female talent so important in our industry?

  • Astrid Tulleuda: “Men and women, in general, have different ways of seeing the world and different talents. For the industry to advance, as in other areas, it’s essential to tap into these differences and skills.”
  • Natalia Fernández: “To continue demonstrating to those who have doubts that we are just as capable as any man to do all kinds of work.”
  • Nerea López: “Because the qualities we women possess complement the male talent in the company, without having to step on each other’s toes. We’re all intelligent and have a lot to prove in our work.”

A woman who inspires you and why?

  • Astrid Tulleuda: “My grandmother. In 1920s Catalonia, in a society where women were relegated to caring for the home and children, she broke with the established norms of the time, supporting her family and betting on a different future for her loved ones.”
  • Maria Molist: “My mother, because she is the perfect example of determination and ability. She was an entrepreneur and innovator in her work life, always seeking new opportunities and facing challenges with courage.”
  • Nerea López: “I don’t know any historical women who inspire me, but if anyone has taught me to never give up, it was my mother. I’m proud to say that thanks to her, I am who I am today.”

What makes GasN2 a good job for women?

  • Anna Masanas: “A respectful and positive work environment, a commitment to equal opportunities, and the promotion of talent without gender bias.”
  • Astrid Tulleuda: “At GasN2, we value talent, commitment, and effort. Whoever you are and whatever your personality may be. I think the company is very focused on creating a work environment that encourages everyone to unleash their talents.”
  • Nerea López: “Because the people in this company respect us. Personally, they treat me like one of their own, and the community I’ve formed with my colleagues is very comfortable. We all help each other.”

What advice would you give to a woman joining GasN2?

  • Maria Molist: “Enjoy the experience. It’s a dynamic environment with constant challenges, where you can learn, contribute, and grow with the support of a close-knit team. Attitude and initiative are key to taking advantage of every opportunity.”
  • Natalia Fernández:“Take advantage of the opportunity for growth and confidence that the company offers you and leave behind any fear of being treated differently because of your gender.”
  • Nerea López: “In any job, there will always be people who undervalue us because of our gender or because they think we’re not capable of being women, especially in jobs where 80% of the workforce is male. But this shouldn’t be an impediment to growing as individuals and advancing in our professional careers. And if you end up working with us, don’t worry: you’ll feel included here.”

Towards a more inclusive industrial future

Female talent is not only necessary, but essential for the development of a more balanced and competitive industry. Diversity of experiences and perspectives enriches companies, generating more creative and efficient solutions.

At GasN2, we will continue working to consolidate an environment where everyone, regardless of gender, can develop professionally and contribute their best. Because the future of the industry is sustainable, innovative, and, above all, inclusive.
