Bilaser
Success stories | {titulo_caso}
Starting situation![]()
BILASER met its nitrogen needs through a high-pressure N₂ rack system. This system required continuous (almost daily) deliveries of cylinder racks by truck, generating a significant environmental impact due to CO₂ emissions from transport.
Monthly nitrogen consumption amounted to 14 racks of 270 m³ at high pressure, equivalent to 4,479.3 kg of N₂, requiring 10 monthly trips for rack replacement and generating more than 2,880 kg of CO₂ annually from transport alone.
In addition to the environmental and economic impact, this system affected operational efficiency, as personnel had to connect and disconnect racks during exchanges, interfering with normal workflow.
In response, BILASER set the objective of replacing its nitrogen supply system with a more efficient and sustainable solution to reduce operating costs, minimize energy impact and improve workflow, optimizing internal resources.
Solution proposed by GasN2 ![]()
GasN2 installed at BILASER a high-purity nitrogen generation system (99.995%) with a capacity of 24 Nm³/h, enabling self-sufficiency for laser cutting supply and eliminating dependence on external suppliers.
The system includes:
- Air compression and treatment in accordance with ISO 8573-1.
- GasN2 GN27HP generator for high-demand applications.
- Recompression up to 300 bar to optimize use in industrial processes.
