Gas N2itrogen SL is participating in the project “Development of a facility for the recovery and treatment of CO₂ emissions from industrial processes for their reuse as food gas,” part of the agri-food aid program (PERTE Agro) funded by the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Tourism.
The project’s objective is to create an innovative technology that allows for the recovery and treatment of CO₂ emissions from industrial processes for their reuse as food gas within the agri-food sector. This initiative seeks to promote circular and sustainable solutions that reduce the environmental impact of the industry while adding value to the food supply chain.
The project is eligible for comprehensive action support for the agri-food industrial chain and is part of the Strategic Project for Economic Recovery and Transformation (PERTE Agro), within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan. Specifically, it is part of the “From Green to Healthy (FG2H)” driving project, which brings together 22 companies across the country and aims to strengthen the agri-food value chain through innovation, digitalization, and sustainability.
The approved eligible budget amounts to €1,212,777, and development has been underway at the GasN2 facilities since April 2023.
With this participation, GasN2 reinforces its commitment to I+D+i applied to industrial sustainability, pioneering technologies that enable progress toward a more circular, efficient, and environmentally friendly model.
