Gas N2itrogen SL is participating in the project “New traceability and food safety platform in the protein product value chain,” part of the agri-food aid program (PERTE Agro) funded by the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Tourism.

The main objective of the project is the development of a comprehensive cognitive ecosystem that enables real-time monitoring and prediction of the protein product supply chain. To this end, advanced research will be carried out based on the collection, interpretation, digitization, and intelligent management of information generated in different agri-food and industrial environments, supported by state-of-the-art sensors and artificial intelligence.

As an expert in gas treatment equipment and solutions for various sectors, GasN2 will contribute its expertise to the platform’s real-world validation. The company will apply the demonstrator prototype to its own production, covering the entire value chain and thus ensuring food safety and traceability.

This project is part of the “From Green to Healthy (FG2H)” driving force, aimed at strengthening the agri-food value chain through innovation, digitalization, and sustainability. Twenty-two companies nationwide are participating in the project, with an approved fundable budget of €9,499. The project has been running since April 2023 at GasN2’s facilities.

With this participation, GasN2 reaffirms its commitment to technological innovation and food safety, contributing to the move toward a more digital, sustainable, and safe agri-food sector.
