The visit is part of an initiative to recognise companies located in Sentmenat that contribute to the economic, social and sustainable development of the town.

Sentmenat, 28th February 2024 – On Monday 26th February, GasN2 received the institutional visit of Montserrat Rueda Miralles, Mayoress of Sentmenat, and Manel Jiménez Monteagudo, Economic Promotion Coordinator. The visit is part of an initiative to recognise companies that contribute to the economic and social development of the town.

Oriol Martínez, Executive President & Head Engineer of GasN2, and Bernat Clofent, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, accompanied the mayor during her visit to GasN2’s offices and facilities in Sentmenat, explaining the mission, the production process, and, above all, the fundamental value of sustainability, efficiency and safety, technology, and innovation for GasN2.

The Sentmenat’s Economic Development Department gives recognition to companies that do not limit their work to legal obligations, but go beyond expectations by adding value in other areas: creating jobs through the creation of internships and learning programmes; collaborating with local events and activities, for example through sponsorship; or companies with a high value in environmental sustainability actions: reducing the environmental footprint, responsible management of natural resources and the adoption of green technology, as is the case with GasN2.

Oriol Martínez, Executive President & Head Engineer of GasN2 explains the company’s environmental and sustainability commitment: “We are delighted by the visit of the Mayoress, Montserrat Rueda, to our facilities. This recognition is an incentive for us to continue our mission of contribution to the economic, social and sustainable development of the town. Sustainability is one of our company’s fundamental pillars, not only an ethical obligation but also an opportunity to create a more sustainable future for everyone.”

GasN2 is committed to sustainability and business ethics. It upholds ethical standards in all its operations, ensuring transparency and accountability in its practices and guaranteeing respect for human rights throughout the company’s supply chain.
