Starting situation

OBACH required a continuous ultra-freezing system to supply its stores, initially considering a static system using liquid N₂ as a consumable. Ultimately, the company chose an innovative and sustainable technology that significantly reduced its carbon footprint and improved its environmental impact.

Solution proposed by GasN2

Implementation of a CT20 Refrigeration Plant operating at temperatures down to -80 ºC + a static tunnel.

Results

  • Economic savings.

  • 19% reduction in CO₂ emissions associated with gas transport, avoiding more than 6,207 kg of CO₂ annually, equivalent to planting 310 trees.

  • Higher capacity and faster cooling time compared to traditional systems.

  • Greater autonomy and reliability: reduced dependence on external suppliers, improving sustainability and operational strength.

  • Preservation of organoleptic qualities through a mechanical refrigeration system without consumables.
