Zander Foods

Starting situation

Zander Foods required a continuous ultra-freezing system to supply the foodservice sector, traditional retail, and supermarkets.

Solution proposed by GasN2

Implementation of a CT15 Refrigeration Plant operating at temperatures down to -80 ºC + a 2 x 0.6 metre dynamic tunnel.

Results

  • Cost savings by eliminating inefficiencies of the traditional system.

  • 19% reduction in CO₂ emissions associated with gas transport, reducing more than 6,207 kg of CO₂ annually, equivalent to planting 310 trees.

  • Production capacity of 90–150 kg/h in full freezing.

  • Production of 400–800 kg/h in crust-freezing processes.

  • Higher capacity and faster cooling times compared to traditional systems.

  • Greater autonomy and reliability: reduced dependence on external suppliers, improving the company’s sustainability and operational strength.

  • Preservation of the organoleptic qualities of products through a mechanical refrigeration system without consumables.
